Friday was a special day for Tollywood’s heartthrob Jeet. After all, it was his birthday and the actor hosted a party at the lounge bar of a city club to celebrate it. Flanked by his family, his friends from within the industry and outside, Jeet not only cut his birthday cake, but also revealed his philanthropic side by launching his own NGO.And actor Soumitra Chatterjee launched Jeet’s website the same evening. Clearly, the actor’s fans have much to celebrate.

As you have guessed already, everyone present had a great time. And when we got an opportunity to speak to Jeet, we asked him whether this bash is also a way to give an extra fillip to his latest venture. To this the actor retorted, “Not at all. My NGO and
celebrating my birthday with my family and friends are more important than anything else. This has nothing to do with publicity.”
