Kolkata metro railway observes Constitution Day
On November 26, metro railway observed Constitution Day and Asim Kumar Majumdar, principal chief electrical engineer administered the pledge on the Preamble to the Constitution of India to officers and staff at Metro Rail Bhavan. Officers and staff of metro railway participated in the programme in numbers. They vowed to uphold and protect the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India and secure social, economic and political justice to all citizens. Apart from this, the Constitution Day was also observed in Noapara car shed, Tapan Sinha Memorial Hospital and other offices of metro railway.
