Kolkata mein audience bhi kalaakar hain: Sonu Nigam

With over 6,000 songs in more than 32 languages in his repertoire, Sonu Nigam is an artiste who has won the hearts of his audiences time and again. Known for his high-energy performances that always strikes the right chord with audiences, the singer treated Kolkata to a concert on Sunday evening, despite his stage injury last week. Sporting a gold and green suit, the Kal Ho Naa Ho singer, engaged with the Kolkata audience like was home.

‘Please baith jao’
While Sonu interacted with the audiences, he expressed concerns about crowd management. Sonu said, “There is no point standing, you are blocking everyone’s view. Agar tum ko khada hona hi hain, election mein khade ho jaao yaar! Please baith jao. Jaldi baitho!”
47 years and counting
During the performance, Sonu shared that this year he completes 47 years of stage shows. He said, “I’ve always received so much love in this city, you have seen the growth of my career, the singer said, adding, “I’ll take this opportunity to express that I’ve completed 47 years of stage shows and I am so grateful to my audience. This is just me giving back all the love I have received in so many years.
