What struck many was how buildings often overlooked in daylight revealed their grandeur at night. Cameras clicked furiously as temples, government offices and historic facades took on a majestic glow. “We pass these places daily but never notice them this way,” one participant remarked. “Tonight, Kolkata felt like Paris or Prague.” More than just a tour, the evening sparked civic pride and renewed appreciation for conservation, proving that light can be a powerful way to reconnect a city with its past.
