The Lok Sanskriti Fair, which is being held at an amusement park in Salt Lake, ends today. The event brought together traditional folk performances, engaging activities, and authentic cuisine from Rajasthan and Haryana, creating a rich cultural experience for visitors. Taking place since the last 22 years, the fair had it all – right from fun activities for kids, Rajasthani handicraft items, including block prints, embroidery and textiles, on display, to dance performances.
The fair also gave visitors an opportunity to see how yarn is spun on a traditional charkha. Camel rides and professional fire stunts were the main attractions, providing a sense of excitement. The camel rides offered visitors a chance to experience something unique, evoking the charm of traditional fairs, while the fire stunts added an element of thrill and daring, showcasing skill and bravery.
