Various volunteers and citizens recently participated in a tree plantation drive at Nirman Chowk.
While addressing other citizens present at the event, volunteers spoke about the importance of such initiatives and the benefits of nurturing these plants. They also appealed to the community to conduct such drives often.
The drive was held on a four acre land, where different indigenous trees were planted.
Some volunteers also donated tree guards on the occasion.
Various eminent personalities were also present at, and participated, in the drive.
