Rugged Sahyadri trail for the adventure enthusiasts

Participants from Kolhapur buckled up for the toughest, enthralling Rugged Sahyadri trail race held recently. Organized by Ruggedian Lifestyle pvt ltd, the race saw over 200 participants. The 21 km and 50 km trail race were conducted on route from Panhala to Pawan Khind in Kolhapur, this was a combination of craggy, rolling and steep terrain. The groups were divided age wise and winners were felicitating in with exciting prizes.
Participants were mesmerised while passing through Masai Pathar the myriad of wildflowers of different colours and sizes that bloom during this season.
The race is planned on the route where the historical event of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s escape route from Panhala Fort. The idea fuelling of Rugged Sahyadri was to combine the cause of fitness with the love for Maharashtra and its legendary chapter of Maratha history.
