to pay a tribute to Shaheed Jawan Abhijit Suryavanshi, who was the Chhatrapati at the Presidency in his battalion. District Collector Daulat Desai, Sanjayitaraj Chhatrapati, Veeramata Manisha Suryavanshi, etc, honored Sanjay Chandrakant Patil, a hawaladar in the 29 TMRatha Battalion, with the award of Best Jawan of the Year.
Desai said, “ Abhijit Suryavanshi has sacrificed life for the countrymen. His bravery and sacrifice is an inspiration for the youth."
On this occasion, the wife of Ratan Ganpatrao Chavan was also honored. Students of std X-XII were also felicitated. The President of the Trust, Nitin Suryavanshi, introduced the guests. District Sub-Welfare Officer Major Subhash Sassan, Deputy Chairman of the 91st TA Billion, Sanjay Waghe, Chief of the Trust, Virmata Manisha Suryavanshi were also present.
