The team also announced a series of events titled

Punarvayana

as part of the mission. Parvathy had said, “Literally, Punarvayana means re-reading but it essentially also means re-visiting and re-investigating. I believe we need to learn from our past. It’s also to bring the focus back to cinema itself,” she said.

The team screened the movie Mirch Masala and also discussed what the film meant to different participants. “In the coming months, we will have bigger screenings and we expect bigger participation and hope it will bring more awareness on why cinema is an extremely important part of our politics and how it influences our society,” Parvathy said.

State Award winning actress Pauly Valsan was also honoured at the event.
