Western music ensemble enthralls city folks

The

16th Bach festival

held at the YMCA Library Hall recently warmed up a chilly evening in the city. The western music concert titled Concert Fantasia, which was organised by city-based Clef and Canto Music School, saw a bunch of international musicians from Russia and Kazakhstan presenting an opera house experience to the packed crowd.

The two-hour concert opened with

Vykhodtseva Olga Nikolaevna on vocal

Dana Bekpossynova on piano

,

Gleb Nachaev on violin

,

Kenzhegul Akshekina on cello

and

Klimov Alexandr Dmitrievich on flute

. The event was inaugurated by former chief secretary Nalini Netto IAS. Later, the music enthusiasts also witnessed a beautiful performance by western music prodigies from the capital city such as Amal John, Fencin Christo, Gayathri Ayyappadas, Megha Nair, Jordan Canto, Akhil Vinay and Willy.
