Sujatha bags Kamukara Award

Veteran playback singer P Susheela presented Sujatha Mohan with this year’s Kamukara Award at a grand function in Thiruvananthapuram. The 23rd edition of the award, which is instituted in the memory of the late playback singer Kamukara Purushothaman, was hosted at Tagore Theatre. Renowned personalities including actor Madhu, Dr K Omanakutty, Rajeev ONV and D Chandrasenan Nair were present attended the function.Following the award ceremony, singers including Rajalakshmi, G Sreeram, Kamukara Sreekumar, Apoorva, Kanchana Sreeram and Sangeeth rendered selected songs of P Susheela and Sujatha at the event titled Odakuzhal Vili.
