Soorya music and dance festival begins with Ganagandharvan’s concert

This year’s annual cultural event,

dance and music fete began on Tuesday with the melodious vocal concert of legendary singer,

KJ Yesudas

. The Ganagandharvan thanked art connoisseur, Soorya Krishnamoorthy for the opportunity. According to the organisers, the concert marked 42nd performance of the Padma Shri awardee at the

Soorya Festival

. The veteran singer conveyed his wishes for everyone for the Navarathri occasion and also shared his memories about his guru, V Dakshinamoorthy. The Carnatic vocal concert by the ace singer enthralled the audience and transported them into a divine ambience.
