titled CP Padmakumar Reminiscence, an array of programmes were organised in Thiruvananthapuram. The event held at Kanankakunnu Palace auditorium was attended by film critics and film personalities such as

, Kaladharan and Sanalkumar Sasidharan.

The event was took stock of the Indian cinema and its rich history as film critic and scriptwriter

presented the

CP Padmakumar memorial

lecture. The function also had a beautiful veena recital by Dr

Jayanthi Kumaresh

, whose forte is playing the Saraswati veena. The Carnatic artiste was supported by well-known percussionist Pramath Kiran on tabla throughout the performance.
