Raghavan honoured with Thoppil Bhasi award

was honoured with this year’s

Thoppil Bhasi award

for his contribution in the field. The award, which is bestowed on the annual birth anniversary of Malayalam playwright, screenwriter,and film director Thoppil Bhasi, was given at an event held at VJT Hall in the city recently.

Actor Madhu

, who was to present the award to his friend Raghavan, couldn’t attend the event due to health issues. Instead, MLA C Divakaran gave the award, which comprised a cash prize and citation, to Raghavan and conveyed wishes from Madhu too.
