The paintings and craft works on display at the Museum Auditorium by 82-year-old artist

PS Padmini

reveals that age is not a barrier for an artist. Padmini, a retired school teacher and Kottayam native surprises the onlookers at the art gallery as the diverse works showcase her artistic brilliance. Mural, Madhubani, glass, watercolor paintings and works from mixed mediums are framed nicely on the walls of the auditorium.
The other artwork on display also includes craft pieces like a clay pot, broken glass work, paper patchwork, metal imposing, plastic wire bag, soft toys, shadow works and many more that transport the viewers to an art house ambiance. The veteran was supported by her son, Prakash and daughter Deepa Gopinath. Inaugurating the art show was Mayor Adv V K Prasanth who conveyed that the veteran artist is an inspiration for many.
