As Kochi-based cultural forum Gosri Ganasabha celebrated its 52nd anniversary, it offered the city a week of music and dance programmes lining up renowned artistes from across the country.
The celebration had dance performances by Dakshina Vaidhyanathan and Meera Sreenarayanan. Carnatic vocal concerts by Aishwarya Vidhya Raghunath and Bharath Sundar, and a violin solo show by Vidwan Mysore Nagaraj were also part of the event.
The sabha, which was formed in 1967, by a handful of musicians in Mattancherry. It has been an active forum that fosters artistes from the State and outside, and has been staging performances of dancers, musicians, instrumentalists and more regularly in Kochi, ever since.
