Mallika Sarabhai visits capital city

Prolific dancer and social activist Mallika Sarabhai recently visited capital city as part of a lecture demonstration with kids organised at Guru Gopinath Natanagramam, Vattiyoorkavu in Thiruvananthapuram.
The veteran artist engaged in a conversation with assembled kids about dance, her mother and other social relevant issues happening in the society.The talk session was also attended by dance enthusiasts to whom Mallika delved upon the importance to practice daily and the need to create new padams and varnams in classical dance form, Bharatanatyam.
The Vice-Chairman of Nadanagramam K C Vikraman and secretary Sudarshnan addressed the event. However Mallika Sarabhai also distributed prizes for the students at the respective dance institution.
