M-Town celebs cheer for Gauthami Nair’s debut venture

There was cheers galore during the launch of the title and first poster of Gauthami Nair’s directorial debut Vrittham at Kochi on Friday. The team boasted of an all-woman crew, for many of whom this is their first venture and hence it also echoed a sense of nervousness. However, the movie’s actors Sunny Wayne and actor Saiju Kurup reinforced that together they can bring out a good product, saying, ‘Nammuku polikaam’.The highlight of the event was the chief guest Dulquer Salmaan, who turned up to wish his buddies and Second Show co-stars Sunny and Gauthami. The LOL moment though came when director Arun Gopy said, “Sunny performs the best, when he is around women. Now that the film has an all-woman crew, he is likely to even get a National award this time.” We also spotted Gauthami’s husband and director Srinath Rajendran, Basil Joseph, Mathukutty, Jacob Gregory, Rajeev Pillai, Vaishak Nair and Vivek Gopan.
