Kerala State Film Awards ceremony turns a starry affair

Putting an end to the hues and cries, with actor Mohanlal as chief guest, the 48th Kerala State Film Awards distribution ceremony was held in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday.
The award distribution ceremony held at Kanakakunnu Nishagandhi auditorium was a starry affair as the actors and technicians who bagged the Kerala State film Awards for this year and many of their friends too, flew down to capital city to take part in the event.A host of celebrities of Mollywood including actors Indrans and Parvathy who bagged the best actor and actress awards, musicians Gopi Sundar and Shahabas Aman, Lijo Jose Pelliseri, Rahul Riji Nair, Vineetha Koshy, Sneha M, singer Sithara, Sanju Surendran, Vijay Menon, Sajeev Pazoor, Pauly Valsan and Alencier Ley Lopez received their respective prestigious awards at the do.Veteran lyricist and filmmaker Sreekumaran Thampi was also awarded with the prestigious J.C. Daniel Award at the ceremony for his great contributions to the Malayalam film industry
