Gender Club to support minorities

The students of one of the most popular colleges in Thiruvananthapuram, All Saints’ College, recently joined hands to start the Gender Equality Club on campus. The girls, with the support of faculty, started the club to create awareness, not only among students, but also in society, about the need to create a happy and supportive environment for people of all genders.The club was inaugurated by transgender activists, Renju Renjimar, celebrity make-up artiste and writer A Revathi. The inaugural session was followed by a short play titled, Parayaan Maranna Kathakal by Dhwayah Transgender Arts and Charitable Society.
