Remembering the ace filmmaker, Satyajit Ray on his 98th birth anniversary celebrations, a play

Charulatha
was staged at the VJT Hall recently. The dramatic adaptation of Satyajit Ray’s famous film, Charulatha released in 1964, was organised by Satyajit Ray Film Society. The beautiful story of Charu, the bored home-maker was depicted on stage by the actors with grace. The performance was inaugurated by aceactor Madhu
. Among the guests who dropped in to watch the play we spotted, Chunakkara Ramankutty, E Chandrashekharan, Anita Prasannan, Lekha Mohan and Cesy Lal Vinod.New Year Special
