The silver jubilee celebrations of
Perumbadavam Sreedharan
’s widely-acclaimednovel Oru Sankeerthanam Pole
was held at Gandhi Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram recently.Sashi Tharoor
and saw writer Perumbadavam Sreedharan, director R S Vimal, former chairman of Lalithakala Akademi Kattoor Narayanapilla, Palode Ravi and Cherian Philip in attendance. The guests shared their thoughts on the novel and their experience while reading it. Novelist Sreedharan also spoke about how writer Fyodor Dostoevsky inspired him in his life and in writing the novel.end of article
