More than 250 artists across Kerala have gathered in
Kochi
to do their bit to support the
flood relief
work in the State. They are part of the art camp, Kaalavarsham 2018: Kalavarsham, which is organised by
Kerala Lalithakala Akademi
and Kalakar Kerala. “We wanted to contribute to Kerala’s flood relief activities. So we decided to join hands and do paintings. The paintings exhibited are also for sale,” says Nemom Pushparaj, chairman of Kerala Lalithakala Akademi. Art enthusiasts can now walk into the Durbar Hall Gallery, where the event is held till August 30, to support the artists and the flood victims.
