Art book launch in capital city

Art enthusiasts had a gala time at Thiruvanathapuram recently during the launch of the book , 'Absolute', penned by artist Maniilal Sabrimala. The book is based on painters and paintings from across 26 countries with whom he had encounters during his travels. The author who is a well-known painter displayed a few of his paintings as well. The paintings were known for its spiritual elements on the event.Spotted at the do were Princess Aswathy Thirunal Gouri Lakshmi Bhayi, actresses Urmila Unni and Uthara Unni, Soorya Krishna Moorthy, Dr Umadevi Andherjanam, Sudha Gauri Lakshmi, Kattoor Narayana Pillai, KR Ramavarma and so on. The guests had a good time discussing the book and paintings over some tea and snacks.
