‘All’s Well That Ends Well’ painting exhibition at MNF Museum Gallery
Kerala
It is a group painting exhibition, and it features the works of artists
The show started on March 4 and it is on till March 10. Artist Gayathri says that all of them have very different styles. He says, “Robert’s works are mostly focussed on the environment. He tries to show how things are constantly changing around us in the environment, through his paintings. As for Sasi, his works ponder about what would happen in the future, what would happen to our mother planet earth as it speeds through its path in the universe and more. I have about 19 of my works on display here, they ponder on themes related to women and children and the many different issues they face.”
Gayathri says that he believes all revolutions start from the kitchen. “I believe it is women who start with all the revolutions. That said, they aren’t respected well enough in our society. An International Women’s Day is just over, but I don’t think we have given enough importance to their voices yet. That’s why my works try to give a voice to women and children. These days, thanks to online classes, I think children are getting a lot more time to indulge in creative activities, unlike in the past. At the same time, they too are plagued by things like competitions from a very young age. Through my works I am trying to address all these situations,” he says.
