Adoor Gopalakrishnan bags Prem Nazir Suhruth Samithi Award
The eighth Evergreen Hero Awards instituted by
Prem Nazir Suhruth Samithi
was presented to the respective personalities at an event held recently at Thiruvananthapuram. Veteran filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan was presented with Chalachithra Sreshta Award, Perumbadavam Sreedharan with Sahithya Sreshta Award and Dr MK Muneer with Rashtriya Janaseva Award. The awards were distributed by Minister for Culture, AK Balan to the awardees at a grand function held at State Public Library Hall, Palayam. The event was followed by a musical night, Nithya Vasantham featuring selected 31 songs from the films of late actor Prem Nazir.end of article
