It was organised by photographer Sanif U C and it was held at Narayani Vilas Bungalow, a colonial building that was built in 1943.

Anarkali, who wears a Kerala style sari for the shoot, says, “Right from the time Sanif showed me the photo of this location, I was quite excited to do this shoot. This house, which has such a long past, is right by the road side. The fact that it was built before Indian independence itself makes the whole project interesting. During the age of pandemic, artistes are trying to stay engaged through activities like photoshoots and this initiative is also part of such an attempt. We will be doing a photoshoot plus video and concept shoots today.”

The location of the shoot, Narayani Vilas Bungalow, was built by Rao Bahadur Shri. P.S Nair, who was a British doctor. It was named after his wife, Narayaniamma. The works of the house was completed in 1943. It is situated adjacent to NH17 in North Paravur and its frontal view clearly depicts the British style construction. It is about 1000 sq ft and have seven bedrooms that are bath attached, two big kitchens, a big central courtyard aka nadumuttam and five big verandhas. The height of each of the rooms is about 16 feet, which aren’t normal these days. The ceilings of the house are made of teak wood.

Anarkali, who was last seen in the film ‘Marconi Mathai’ in the year 2019, has the films ‘Amala’ and ‘Kissa’ coming up.
