The city recently organised an event
Madhuvarsha Sandhya
to felicitate veteran actorPadma Shri Madhu
. The actor was honoured at a function held at the University Senate Hall. Actors Sharada, Mukesh, Indrans, Kerala Legislative Assembly speaker P Sreeramakrishnan, KM Mani, D Vijayakumar, O Rajagopal, music director and filmmaker Sreekumaran Thampi were among the guests at the do. The occasion also witnessed a variety of entertainment programmes including a music show and a Madhu Gana Manjari where evergreen songs of the Chemmeen actor were presented.end of article
