A stunning programme of music and dance in capital

A prominent Kowdiar-based dance and music school celebrated its sixth anniversary with a classical dance concert by its talented artistes, under the leadership of dancer- teacher Sarada Thampi. The two-day fete, held at Priyadarshini Hall, was inaugurated by renowned Hindustani musician and singer Ramesh Narayan and popular mohiniyattam dancer Dr Neena Prasad.We spotted director Shankar Ramakrishnan, P K Sreemathi and Sajna Vinish among the special guests. The ceremonial inauguration was followed by aesthetic group performances by the students.
