A fitting finale for 12th IDSFFK
The 12th edition of popular International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala concluded on Wednesday with a rousing ceremony. The week-long event, held in the Kairali theatre complex in the capital city, was organised by the Kerala Chalachitra Academy. Kerala Legislative Assembly Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the fest. Chalachitra Academy vice chairperson Bina Paul announced the

awards at the event. Minister for Culture A K Balan presided. The event was gala affair for young filmmakers, as well the veterans. We spotted Gayathri Sasiprakash and her friends having a bash at the venue after winning the Best Campus Film for their film, Prathichaya. Renowned women documentary filmmaker Madhusree Dutta also shared her excitement over winning this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award.end of article
