The sisters, who are the daughters of chenda maestro

Kalamandalam Krishnadas

, brought forth an Irratta

Thayambaka performance

in front of the audience, which included filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan. The

double thayambaka

was a treat for the ears as it kicked off with a soothing ‘Pathikalam’. Later the girls scaled to the second phase titled Koorus through Adantha and moved to the third phase where they created a festival of sounds with a fast-paced presentation.
The young artistes with their percussion instrument succeeded in mesmerising the crowd as many of the viewers tapped their hands to the rhythm of chendas.
