Suniel Shetty attends Republic Day celebrations in Kanpur

When politico Ajay Kapoor and his brother Sanjay invited actor Suniel Shetty to be part of their Republic Day celebrations, they did not anticipate the huge crowd that gathered to have a dekko of the actor.
“Suniel Shetty is a good friend of mine and when I told him that I plan to organise Republic Day celebrations in Kanpur, he immediately agreed to join us on the occasion,” informed Ajay.
The evening turned to be a complete patriotic one as local artists enthralled the huge crowd with patriotic songs like Aye Watan Aye Watan and Woh Bharat Desh Hai Mera.
Later, a dance troupe gave an energetic performance of bhangra. But what generated most excitement was the appearance of Suniel who had the crowd screaming out his name. The actor too didn’t disappoint his fans and said, “Namaskar Kanpur… Main bahut khush hoon ki aaj main aap sab ke saath 26 January mana raha hoon.” Later, Suniel also sang Sandese Aate Hain from his hit movie Border.
