Holi was celebrated ahead of the festival by the members of the a social club in the city. Dressed in traditional attire, the ladies had fun at the do, which was held at a popular restaurant. The venue was also given a rustic feel with chulha, chakki, khatiya and a hukkah as part of the decor.
A dance performance on folk songs by Ekta, Vinita and Neelam was appreciated by all the guests. We spotted Jaya, Asha, Archana and Poonam enjoying the do and posing for photographs with the hukkah. Later, the ladies enjoyed a delicious lunch of daal baati, litti, churma, chhaach and other traditional dishes.
