John has a rocking Saturday night in Kolkata

It was a Saturday night to remember for John Abraham and Kolkata as the actor’s football team lifted the Durand Cup for the second time in a row after a thumping 6-1 win in the finals.

In doing so, it became the first team to successfully defend the title after East Bengal did it between 1989 and 1991.
As final whistle blew and confetti swirled, John’s face was brimming with pride and joy as he lifted the cup and waved to the cheering crowd of 17,000 fans at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan. He even did a victory lap with players of his team.
