University Maharani College's annual youth fest 'Veethika 2019' kicks off on a high note

Veethika 2019

' on Thursday with great enthusiasm. The fest comprised of various competitions. Prof R K Kothari, vice-chancellor of Rajasthan University was the chief guest for the inaugural session. The theme of this year’s Veethika is ‘zodiacs’, representing the celebrations of spectrum of personalities. Various batch-wise competitions were held which saw an active participation from the students of different colleges of Jaipur.

Under the category of cultural events, Neelam Kanwar was the winner while Nalini Akhawat was the first runner-up. In the group song competition, University

Maharani College

stood first and the students of University Rajasthan College secured the second position. Under the literary event, students from different colleges participated in ‘Mock Parliament’ which revolved around the issue of Triple Talaq. Rahul Singh from Amity University won the competition.
