TV actors say yes to zindagi in Jaipur!
A saas-bahu duo hanging out together and enjoying time in a club might be rare. That’s what Jaipur’s audience witnessed during the staging of the play, Hello Zindagi, recently. The play saw TV actresses
Written by Jaipur actress Smita Bansal, and directed by Raman Kumar, the play revolved around five women from different backgrounds who live together. Pammi, played by Minissha, lives with her mom-in-law Bakula, played by Delnaaz. Chitrashi plays Shivani who takes care of the house and business, Guddi Maruti plays the house help Bijoya di while Kishwar plays Sheena. Delnaaz as the modern-day saas garnered much applause for her spunky acting.
The life stories of these women kept the audience engaged as they showcased different emotions of love, sympathy, compassion, misery, hatred and more. The play concludes with Delnaaz’s dialogue, “God has made life beautiful, but it’s we who create problems for ourselves. Hello Zindagi!”
Among the audience, we spotted former tourism minister Usha Poonia, who said, “What I liked the most in the play is an unusual but a healthy relationship of a daughter-in-law and her mother-in-law. While the girl divorces her husband, her relationship remains untouched with her momin-law. Unlike TV serials showcasing these relationships in bad light, it was great to see this saas-bahu jodi as great buddies and living life to the fullest, which also gave us a beautiful message.”
