South Western Command celebrates 14th Raising Day

To mark the 14th Raising Day of the South Western Command, the youngest and seventh command of the Army, a tribute was paid to the martyrs at the Prerna Sthal, Jaipur Military Station on April 15. Lieutenant General Vijay Singh, Chief of Staff, South Western Command and other serving and retired officers, junior commissioned officers and others laid wreaths at the ceremony. In addition to its primary role of operational preparedness, the command has contributed towards environment protection, national integration, welfare of veer naris and differently-abled soldiers besides providing assistance to the civil administration.
