PETA members protest against the use of leather products in Jaipur

The waste from leather production also causes skin and respiratory disorders in people who work in and live near tanneries,” says Radhika Suryavanshi,
“We can all make the world a kinder and safer place simply by choosing leather-free shoes and clothing. Synthetic leather and other animal-friendly options are available at nearly all major shoe and clothing shops in the country,” she adds. The protest went on for a hour and the volunteers were seen talking to the tourists and informing them about the ill-effects of using leather and urging them to opt for animal-friendly options.

Peta has to be banned in India. They are a retrograde force whose only goal is to destroy our culture as well as our economy.
