Parveen Sultana's spellbinding performance in Jaipur

As part of the ‘Music in the Park’ series, Padma Bhushan awardee Parveen Sultana gave a spellbinding performance at

Central Park

in Jaipur, recently. The event was a joint initiative by

Spic Macay

,

Jaipur Development Authority

and

Rajasthan Tourism

. The classical singer performed on April 13 and paid tribute to the martyrs of the

Jallianwala Bagh massacre

on its 100th anniversary. She started her performance with raga Madhuvanti followed by compositions in various other ragas. Parveen’s strong voice kept the music lovers on the edge of their seats. The show was loved by all.
