have always fascinated people from all across the world. So when one of the tales, was presented in the form of a play in Jaipur, theater lovers thoroughly enjoyed watching it.

Production Grant Ministry of Culture

Govt. of India and was directed by Abhishek Mudgal and produced by Sumit Mathur.

Staged in Rangayan theatre of Jawahar Kala Kendra, the play based on kissagoi style, talked about Mulla Nasiruddin who returns home in Bukhara after spending 10 years in Baghdad and Tehran.

He fell in love with a girl Guljaan who was abducted by Amir to keep her in his harem. Later, playing his tricks, Mulla succeeds in getting her back as well as freeing the masses from the clutches of cruel Amir.

The entire episode was beautifully depicted by the actors and received applause from the audience.
