Maati ki Mahak at the Lokrang festival in Jaipur

On the fourth day of Lokrang, the special programme ‘Maati Ki Mahak’ by famous Rajasthani artistes was witnessed by the audience. Many regional folk dance and music performances were enjoyed by the visitors during the day at Jawahar Kala Kendra.

The evening began with a Rajasthani folk and cultural music programme titled ‘Maati Ki Mahak’.Along with famous singers like Seema Mishra, Pandit Alok Bhatt and Ghazi Khan many other eminent artistes filled the hearts of the audience with a sense of belonging to Rajasthan. Seema Mishra presented the Rajasthani folk songs ‘Marwan Mahla’, ‘Mhare Hatheliyan Re, ‘Ae Ji Han Sa’ and many others.

The famous ‘Gorband’ was applauded by the audience. Audience further enjoyed performances like ‘Chari’, ‘Malkhamb’, ‘Kachhi Ghodi’ and ‘Hojagiri’ among others.
