Bollywood singer Kavita Krishnamurti, known for her melodious voice vowed Jaipur audience in a concert organised by Srajan – The Spark Jaipur. With music lovers filling every seat, Padma Shri awardee Krishnamurti cast a magical spell with her soulful voice, enveloping the entire hall in musical bliss.
The grand musical night, at Birla Auditorium on Saturday witnessed her all time hit numbers like 'Pyaar Hua Chupke Se', 'Hawa Hawai', 'Kahe Ched-Ched Mohe', and 'Dheeme-Dheeme Gao' turning the city into a vibrant confluence of music and culture. The occasion was an unforgettable evening titled “A Melodious Evening with Kavita Krishnamurti.”
She truly enthralled the audience with her iconic Bollywood hits, leaving everyone spellbound. Joining her on stage was singer Chetan Rana, while Jaipur’s own young talents violinist Uddhav Khandelwal, singer Himangi Chhabra, and percussionist Hiren Pardal infused the evening with freshness and energy through their captivating performances. On this occasion, Padma Vibhushan Dr L Subramaniam, the legendary violin maestro, was felicitated with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award 2025’ for his unparalleled contribution to Indian music. The auditorium resonated with thunderous applause as he received the honour. The event was graced by dignitaries, including chief patron, former IPS officer Prasanna Khamesra, Rajesh Nawlakha (chairman), Suresh Dhadda (president) and Rajeev Nagauri (secretary), Vinay Choradia, along with several eminent guests from Jaipur.
