Anoop Srivastava, founder and director of Jaipur Wax Museum, said, “Last year, we conducted a poll asking people to suggest whose statue should be made next for the stadium setup. We gave them two options – Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni – and got the maximum votes for Dhoni. So, we decided to go ahead with the people’s choice. It took us three months to complete the statue and we decided to unveil it on the museum’s second anniversary. ” He further said, “Although Dhoni is known for his helicopter shot as a batsman, we found his wicketkeeping image very suitable for our museum and got a statue made based on his wicketkeeper look.” The museum currently has 42 wax star attractions.
