Jaipur runners reached Delhi with a message of healthy life and safe vaccination

Jaipur Marathon

, 2 runners of Jaipur, Pradeep Kumar Yadav and Renu Bijarania reached Delhi in seven days doing seven Marathons. Many runners also joined them along the way.

The run was organized by Sanskriti Yuva Sansthan with an aim to spread the message for healthy life, safe vaccination and importance of sports. The runners reach Delhi's Lodhi Garden, where Asian Marathon Champion, Sunita Godara, Income Tax Commissioner, Sanjiv Singh and Mukesh Mishra, CEO of Jaipur Marathon, were present to encourage the runners. Renu Bijaraniya who participated in the pre-event run shares, “It was tough at the start as we were not aware of the conditions around to run from Jaipur to Delhi. But as the saying goes ``if you have the will you can achieve anything, we also did it.” Another participant Pradeep adds, “I love running as it keeps me healthy and fit. It’s my motivation and it’s a matter of pride for me to be part of the run.”

Mukesh Mishra, says, “This year, it will be the 13th edition of Jaipur Marathon and we are all set for the grand event on March 13th, in which runners from different corners of the country will participate. The event aims to give a message of clean and smart city through the run. Tagline of our event is ‘Ab josh naya dikhana hai, fir daud, kyunki badlaav lana hai’ and it aptly summarises the agenda of the event.”
