Jaipur indulges in the spirit of Christmas with a carnival
A magnificent Christmas celebration was hosted in the city at a heritage property. Set in the theme of
The audience was spellbound to see the children performing with professional artists on Christmas carols. The story of Lucy was brought to the stage with a Ballet dance drama. Led by Guilherme Ramos and Karine Ramos from Grand Balloon, the students showcased a magical ballet dance performance commemorating Christmas.
The little Lucy brought alive a splendid world of magic and fairies on the stage. In the story, Lucy enters a gift factory where all things can be brought to life, and as the sun sets, they become lifeless again. With this story inspired by the wonders of the festival, the importance of believing in themselves and an abundance of possibilities was taught to the kids, that they can easily grasp.
Organiser Jai Sharma said, "The importance of cultural exchange through pre-celebration was beautifully highlighted. A musical story performance was presented with international dance art, Ballet, inspired by children's favourite stories about Christmas. Due to the pandemic children spent their vacations and festivals indoors this year. To break the monotony, we have tried to make the festival special. Through such programmes, we get an opportunity to look at life differently and face the challenges of life with courage and hope." All the safety guidelines and measures like sanitisation, masks, and social distancing were carefully followed during the event.”
