Jaipur celebrates World Photography Day

To mark World Photography Day, photo walks were organised by different groups in the city. One of the walk was organised at Jalmahal Ki Pal by a group called ‘Storygraphers of Jaipur’ group.

The walk was intended to boost community interaction along with the encouraging spirit of shared-learning among budding photographers of Jaipur. About 50 aspiring and professional photographers participated in the event and shared their experiences related to photography.

Says Shubham, “With increasing influence and reach of social media platforms, art of photography in youth is not restricted to a hobby but many contemplate to take it as a profession. By hosting such events, we can create a common platform where experts and amateurs exchange their ideas and learn more.”

also celebrated World Photography day and organised a

photo walk at Chaura Rasta

along with an ‘On the Spot Photo contest. More than 60 photographers from all walks of life participated in the photo walk and contest. Participants were asked to click photographs on a theme given to them. Top three winners will be felicitated the best entries would be displayed in the photo exhibition.
