, originally written as a short story by Ryunosuke Akutagawa, was staged at Ravindra Manch in Jaipur. The play was directed by Jaipur-based

theatre

director Vikas Pareek. The story centers around various characters narrating incident that involves a murder. Everyone involved, directly or indirectly, offers an account of the events that transpired on that fateful day. In 1950, it came out as a film, directed by renowned Japanese film director Akira Kurosawa. The play was enjoyed by the audience.
