Foreign students enjoy Rajasthani culture at IIS University as part of cultural exchange program

A team 15 students from 8 countries reached IIS University in Jaipur on Monday under Discover India – International Youth Camp which is an initiative by the

Rotary International

. The team comprising students from France, UK, Romania, Latvia, Netherlands etc were welcomed traditionally by the management.

Dr Raakhi Gupta, rector & registrar of the university greeted everyone and apprised them about the royal heritage. Students, on the other hand, introduced themselves by giving a brief introduction about their respective countries and culture.

Students learning the technique of tie and die

A cultural program was also organized to acquaint them with folk dances of Rajasthan. The cultural program was enjoyed by one and all. The foreign students later joined the girls of the university and tried to match their steps. A tie & die session was also organised for the foreign students.
