Celebrating 25 years of Jawahar Kala Kendra with classical music

To celebrate the 25th foundation day of Jawahar Kala Kendra, a Hindustani classical vocal rendition was organised at its lawns. Indian classical vocalist Girindra Talegaonkar gave a soulful performance at the event titled, Morning Ragas.

The performance began with Samjhat Man Mora and Chaal Chalat Albeli in raag nat bhairav, followed by Bhor Bhayi Jaago, Maano Maano Mori Baat and Bhajle Govinda in raag bairaagi bhairav.He was accompanied by Iftikar Hussain on tabla, Giriraj Balodia on harmonium, Sandeep Soni on flute and Gaurav Bhatt and Uma Vijay on tanpura.
