Artists and students showcased their artworks at an international art camp

The six-day international Art Camp Sarjana 24 concluded with the grand exhibition at Jawahar Kala Kendra. Organized by the Department of Visual Arts, Poornima University in association with Jaipur Art Summit, the exhibition featured artworks of renowned artists from India as well as overseas.

Artists including Eelkwon Kim and Heejung Kim from South Korea, Gianluca Bianchino from Italy, Jeanne Brasile from the USA, and Michelle Boyle from Ireland showcased their artworks. Eminent national artists such as Pranam Singh from Banaras, Anjani Reddy from Hyderabad, Rajendra Prasad and Parmesh Paul from Mumbai, and Swaroop Biswas from Pune also participated. These artists emphasized the importance of such exhibitions in establishing new dimensions in the field of art globally and promoting ideological coordination.

With aim to teach new generation, these artists also taught the nuances of art to the students during a camp at the university. Later these artworks were displayed in the exhibition at JKK. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Amandeep Kapoor, IPS with guests of honor RB Gauttam and Samdar Singh Khangarot Sagar. Through this camp, the participants not only honed their art, but also developed a broad artistic vision by exchanging new ideas and perspectives related to art.
